MOTHER
Many years have gone by I wish this we would mend
When I wish we would have talked Don’t we love each other ?
To say hello or goodbye Am I not your daughter
Or go for a walk ….. And you my mother ?
Our lives have not been easy I hope & pray
We managed to drift apart That we come around
But whatever it’s worth Mom That would be the day
You’ve always been in my heart When the new “us” was found
Its not you that I blame Mom, I want you to know
For the way things are Regardless of what we’ve been thru
But all the hurt Or which way we go
